 Sourcing Seeds

I am an avid seedkeeper and start plants from saved seeds as much as possible.

When I need to buy supplies for a garden project, I aim to support small businesses & organizations that prioritize equitable and sustainable practices, such as thriving wages and safe workplaces for workers and organic growing techniques. I prioritize purchasing from BIPOC and queer owned businesses when possible.

Truelove Seeds

“Truelove Seeds is a farm-based seed company offering culturally important and open pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds.”

FEDCO Seeds

I source Co-op Seeds, Gardening Supplies, Trees, Potatoes, and Bulbs here. FEDCO Seeds is now donating a portion of Indigenous varieties to reparations projects.

Strictly Medicinals

Organic growers of medicinal herb seeds, medicinal herb plants, organic vegetable seeds and organic garden seeds.

Wild Seed Project

This project helps people restore biodiversity in their own communities by raising awareness of native plants. I source native plant seeds and starts here.

Turtle Tree

“We are an integrated work space, part of Camphill Village, growing, selecting, and cleaning our seed with great care. Pioneers of seed transparency, we grow most varieties in our own gardens and source the rest from committed biodynamic farmers.”
